I’d like to find some free or cheap software (<$30) that can help me track my sales tax spending. I’d like to use the output from the program for my income tax sales tax deduction. I live in a state with no income tax so I get to use the sales tax deduction.

I could use a spreadsheet but I’d like something a little slicker and easier than that. I’m looking for a web application or Mac software.

I can easily exceed the standard deduction with my normal spending.

I work part time for a friend and I am paid 100.00 per week. I have been working for one year. How do I provide this information on Turbo Tax? Also, I am curious if I would still be able to get a Tax Refund. I realize that I will have to pay about 700.00 in taxes but would I still receive the Earned Income Tax Credit? I don’t want to go to a big chain Tax preparer because they are too expensive.
