I try to get my definitions from the Blacks Law dictionaries that are associated with the years of the legislation. Statutes are policies, codes, acts that have the color of law within a society. Statutes are not Laws. Their are only two Laws. Thou shalt not damage a man or his property. Thou shalt not use fraud or mischief in your contracts.

You are a smart man. You just need to get some exposure to some accurate knowledge and you’d be a great asset. Statutes only have the color of law by those that volunteer to be governed by them. Hang in there.
