November vote is slated on raising Placerville sales tax
The Placerville City Council voted 4-0 Thursday to place a sales tax increase on the November ballot. Acting in a specially scheduled session to meet a deadline for ballot measures, the council voted to seek voter approval of the quarter-cent tax hike, which is to be used for water and sewer costs.
