The Federal Reserve in and of itself is not the problem–it is merely an administrative arm of the Congress. The problem is that we have allowed large corporations, including BANKS, to control Congress through campaign contributions and lobbying. This allowed them to create the current financial crisis and bailout debacle.
We need a Constitutional Amendment to abolish “Corporate Personhood” and ban corporations from politics.
Study how the Federal Reserve System actually WORKS–learn its structure and how decisions are made. All commercial banks (great and small) are required to own shares in the FED. However, voting rights are not distributed based on number of shares.
In the FED votes are cast ONE BANK, ONE VOTE. This gives smaller, more local banks a much greater say than the large corporate conglomerates due to sheer numbers. Doing away with the FED would give the multinationals MORE power, NOT less.

And if they would, it would get overloaded with people wanting free stuff, so yes, more cities would be built, but there isn’t an unlimited supply of resources for hundreds of millions of people wanting free electronics. Silicon, iron, etc., are limited resources in the earth’s crust. Companies and the govt. wouldn’t let them mine metals at no cost.

Wow, you actually proposed to revolt and almost no one did it. Wow. Totally impressive. The solution isn’t to abolish the Fed, but to just pass a bill repealing legal tender laws, so private companies could start printing their own money, backing it by precious metals, and then Americans will see that the private currencies are much safer investments than the fiat US dollar.
